Opical output connection is broken
The optical output connection on sky q box is broken. The cable will not stay connected to provide sound for my home cinema system. Most annoying.

Re: Opical output connection is broken
You can contact Sky to ask for a replacement box - remember to remove your viewing card and note your recordings will be lost.

Don't suppose your TV has an optical out?

Re: Opical output connection is broken
Yes it does. In DOLBY ATMOS. My amp doesn't support this. Sky box is in DOLBY DUGITAL and DTS

Hi @seanwells Optical does not support Dolby Atmos. It will be Dolby Digital 5.1 at best.

Re: Opical output connection is broken
Presumably your amp doesn't support hdmi, but you should be able to use the optical out on the TV's instead of Q.
