Message states inseet your viewing card with the chip facing up. This has been done but nothing hap

We have inserted the card and nothing happens.!

Is this a new viewing card or your current one?

If you have tried to wipe the chip, and insert it again, I think that it would be best to give sky a call so they can try to re-pair your viewing card if you are not able to do so by yourself. If that doesnt work, it would be a matter of replacing the viewing card.

@AndreLotter You could try refreshing your viewing card by pressing home > settings > system info > viewing card number > setup > viewing card setup press select to trigger a callback don't worry nothing to do with your phone its only Sky's terminology this will be done over the internet
