On demand stopped working

Ever since my Q box went nuts (had to fix it myself since Sky was no help) it's now telling me I have to upgrade if I want to download shows from CI, Sjy History and Sky Crime, just to name a few.  No problem recording or watching live.

Any ideas?

Re: On demand stopped working

Too many steps to count, but lots of resets, multiple system resets, multiple reconnection to the Internet (when the Internet was working fine) and reassigning the viewing card.  Took days and now with this issue, seriously looking at Virgin.

@KathyDe Sky signature comes with live TV, catchup and boxsets.in SD as standard you may be trying to download the programme in HD

The default download setting is HD so try changing the format to download in SD

you can change the default to SD by Pressing Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings, then Setup.
Select Preferences, then 'On Demand default download format', and choose SD.

You rock!  Switched the setting and presto, now works.

Thanks!
