Because it says I need one for my sky sports & TNT sports channels.

Are you new to Sky TV? If you're an existing subscriber you'll already have a Viewing Card.

So i was with sky back about a year ago, I've just rejoined with sky. So I haven't got a previous sky card to put in the box. 

 

The sky Q box has come with eveything bar the viewing card.

Usually the Viewing Card is either sent directly to you by Sky, or the installing engineer provides one. If you don't have one, you'll need to give Sky a call.

@Naran5 if you have returned within 1 year and Sky have sent out a self install main box then they expected you to still have your old viewing card 

I have escalated this to sky

You may receive an email or a private message inviting you to have a private conversation on the Community with a Sky Expert.

Look out for a chat bubble at the bottom of your screen inviting you to a chat
If you are using the Safari browser please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the chat bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.
