Hi Everyone I just got my new Sky q box yesterday (New customer) The technician asked if I had a viewing card I had no idea what he was on about. He said "they'll probably send you a viewing card, you can ring and they'll help you get set up" Is this normal? I haven't been told anything about a viewing card. Also how do I find out "my PIN" I got broadband with SKY too. I received my hub but no viewing card Please help!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreViewing cards for brand new Sky Q customers are usually sent out via Royal Mail to arrive a day or two before the engineer arrives to carry out the install. It's probably delayed in the Christmas post so will hopefully be delivered today. Having said that my understanding was that engineers normally carry spare cards with them for just this eventuality.
Your PIN number is usually the last four digits of the viewing card number and it's used to access certain things on your Sky Q box; access to your bills for example. You can change it to a more memorable number if you wish.
