No sky tv channels,

We have snow in our area, is that why we have no sky tv channels on our sky q box?

@Wychenhill  If it's all channels then yes, it's likely the heavy snow clouds or snow on the dish are attenuating the signal

Re: No sky tv channels,

Mostly likely, I'm in the north east with about 3" of snow this morning, no signal and very dark clouds to the east where the dish points.

But my issue was snow on the dish, blocking the receiver. Fortunately the dish is only 9-10 foot up, so a quick floor mop gently wiped over the dish and remove the snow built up over the receiver bit that pokes out and the signal is back to full strength, all channels back.

Re: No sky tv channels,

I don't have sky Q but I've no channels either in Glasgow.

So what Sky TV box do you have?
