No satellite signal

Please can you help, we have not been able to watch sky since begining of July. 
we had an engineer out who looked at a tree and said that was a problem, didn't check any wires or the box in the house to rule them out. We have ourselves cut a lot of the tree down as we are unfortunately in military housing therefore they have no money it seems to do maintenance on them. 
There is a big clearing for the satellite and there is still no signal. 
Why?

Checking line of sight on a Sky satellite dish is not straightforward.

Because they are Offset dishes the satellite line of sight is below where the dish is actually pointing.

If you still have issues best to get Sky Engineer back to check.
