It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish (it’s not something that will necessarily be visible to the naked eye).

Temporary loss or breakup of the picture is typically caused by very heavy rain, sleet, ice or snow. If the weather has passed but some or all channels are missing, that's usually indicative that the dish has moved or cables have become detached.
