No internet or sky

I have moved into a new property and I have no internet or sky at all in the house they have arranged to have it put in but it's days away is there any way of getting it sorted earlier

What kind of Sky? Sky Q? Sky Stream?

Do you have a lot of data on your mobile phone plan? You can create a hotspot and connect a Sky Stream puck to it but whether or not you'll get a stable enough signal is debatable. 
Why not just read a book? A magazine maybe?

As you've posted on the Sky Q board I presume you've arrange Sky Q. You will have already been allocated the earliest engineer appointment in your area.
