No channels found

I've got Sky Q box and I think last night when switching off my TV I must've pressed in something else by mistake, something like "radio" came up on screen before turning off. Now, I tried to switch on my TV, no channels, the only message I'm getting is no channels found, check your aerial connection. But connection should be ok as no-one fiddled with it. Checked all services in sky, all ok. Not sure why to do to get into my TV ... Please help

hi @CD106

This is a message from your TV's own internal tuner.

You need to select the HDMI input that your SKY Q box is connected - you should be able to use the TV Source button (top left on the majority of SKY remotes) - each press should select the next input on the TV  or use the TV's own remote

Re: No channels found

It's still not working, sky TV remote doesn't do anything when selecting on which should bring up the HDMI TV remote Settings on Network test shows:IP check failed, Gateway Failed, DNS failed Internet unavailable ( which is not right as I can connect to my WiFi), Network info shows: Cye Service Cable and and all other details are failed. What should I do???

Re: No channels found

Thank you so much "nigea99"

I eventually found out the HDMI you were advising.

  • I figured out how to find it, it took me a while though, and because I had three options of HDMI down on screen I couldn't find the right one. Plus that the settings were on Analogue TV.

However, I managed to fix it.

Thanks for your help.
