Looks like our hard drive is on the way out. Recording not available until I reboot the main box every day for a week now.

I have cured my hdmi problem, I have stopped the box from going into standby

Same problem which I seemed to solve by selecting Eco instead of Smart Standby in Preferences on the Settings selection.
