New sky Q wont pair using 1 and 3

Done everything but won't pair pressing 1-3 together.

Hi @Shambo1   I would try power rebooting your box and also rebooting the remote by removing its batteries. Then try again.

Hello Mighty Quinn,

done that several times with no success. Batteries are working. Control is working when I press 7-9. 
Very annoying. Have to use the sky go app to control tv. 
sky Q box is warm to touch from storm last weekend. I'm thinking it may be related. Other sky remote I had just stopped working completely last Friday night after storm.

Yep. Moving distances to and from it. Tried all that too.
