New customer pre installation order tracking shows incorrect Sky Box

I am a new customer.  Equipment yet to be fitted.  First engineer visit failed as I needed broadband.  Rescheduled engineer for 11 October but order tracking still showing Sky Q installation which is incorrect I have requested Sky + as I do not have broadband.  Is there  a simple way to rectify this without sitting p in telephone queues for hours.

Sky no longer sell Sky+ (except in very specific circumstances). Even the most recent Sky+ boxes are at least 7 years old. The current TV platform for satellite reception is Sky Q. It's probably best for you to call to discuss your order with Sky.

As @Mark39 indicates, Sky will not supply the Sky+ HD system to any domestic location (and haven't for several years) unless their records indicate the address is that of a unit within an MDU served by a communal satellite signal distribution system which has not been updated to be compatible with Sky Q.

I'm slightly baffled about how you managed to make any such 'request': an installer isn't in any position to do so.

Incidentally, a main Q box does not actually require broadband to receive live television, although an internet connection is required to activate the hardware: installers have been known to use their own mobile as a 'hotspot' for this.  Q Mini boxes do require an internet router to be present though, for IP address management.

Sometimes installers do refuse to install Q at an address where the occupant tells them they have no intention of ever having broadband.
