No. Your recordings will be gone. Make a note of them before you remove the box before the swap and you can hopefully re-download them from on demand.
Remember to remove your viewing card from the old box before handing it over to the courier. Also make sure you give them the power cable and remote and make sure you get new ones in exchange. There are different types of Q box, some with different incompatible power supplies.
