Hi
I've moved house and have an appointment to have a dish installed in a couple of weeks. Our new house had a cream/white finish and I don't want an ugly black cable on the exterior as it will really stick out. Do the engineers carry white cable as well as black?
Are they open to discussions about location/aesthetics?
Thanks
DD

In my experience, they do usually carry white cable (that's what we have), and most will be happy to have a chat about placement/aesthetics, just remember that they have numerous installs to do every day, so have to balance the practicality of getting you up and running and doing a day full of jobs.
If you really want more control over an installation, you should engage the services of a local aerial/satellite installer who will quote accordingly.
