New Customer

Cancelled Sky yesterday, Sky Q, cannot afford the extortionate prices, I know Sky Stream new customers can get it a lot cheaper, so I asked how long I had to wait until I could join again on Stream and get cheaper prices, the answer. Call back on Black Friday and you should be able to be a new customer and get Sky cheaper.

@Mollie6  New customer deals are only available if you are away from Sky for 18 months, it may be worth though calling Sky to see if you can get any deals on Sky stream

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Presumably you mean that you gave notice to cancel yesterday. If that's the case you are likely to receive offers during your notice period to both stay with Sky Q or get Sky Stream.

Let your Q service end and then give them a ring and ask for the 'winback' team. They have access to the best offers and can restart your Q service within minutes if you agree to a new discounted contract.

@Mollie6  You won't get anywhere near new customer pricing until you haven't had sky tv services for 18/24 months

Re: New Customer

The answer I was given was from someone who said they were on the Sky retention team.

When I say I left, I gave my 31 days notice, in fact, gave them more than 31 days. Was actually also advised to carry on with a new contract and call them on black Friday to try and get a better deal, that was never going to happen.
