Netflix quality
When watching netflix through the q mini box it's sometimes really poor quality particularly on dark scenes with dark areas very blocky and pixelated. Lighter scenes are much better. Get over 70 Mbps, and cannot understand this. Last night checked nitrate and it was streaming at 0.68 Mbps but saying 1080. Surely this can't be right. Anyone any ideas.

Re: Netflix quality
Well. I put my roku express on the same TV. Put the same program on. Quality miles better, and streaming at around 3mbps at 1080. The Netflix app on the q mini is either broken or just rubbish. The TV doesn't help I suppose. It's an old Toshiba HD flatscreen tv at least 12 years old. 😕

Re: Netflix quality
Devices designed for streaming such as a Roku are always usually going to give you better results than a Sky Q box. They have more up to date video processing capabilities. Sky Q is over 8 years old now and was mainly designed for use as a satellite receiver. There is a limit to how much it can do with streaming apps.
