Need help, having ridiculous issue for 3 months with sky not being able realign our dish
Basically towards the end of august we noticed many of our channels having a signal issue. We tried to troubleshoot the issue but it didn't work so we were directed to an engineer visit, which we had booked.
By early september, we had an engineer arrive, he did all his usual checks with our sky q box and saw that the signal strength was really low.
The engineer asked us for our dish and we pointed to it. We live in a flat and it's 3 stories tall so the engineer explained that it requires a 2 man team due to health and safety reasons. Thats completely understandable.
The engineer logged this in but just to make sure we decided to call of sky and explain the situation.
We specifcally mentioned a two man team because thats what the engineer had told us, so we booked this in.
5 days later we had another engineer arrive but it wasn't two people, it was only one person. Infact it was the same engineer and we told him what happened and he said to try again. We were a a little frustrated at the point.
We then called again to setup another appointment in 2 weeks and explained the situation, that the first engineer that arrived said that it is a 'dish realignment issue'. We found out that the wrong department was being sent out to us and it needed to be members of the 'high access team' to come and realign our dish. We then booked another engineer appointment ensuring it would be two people from the 'high access team'.
1 week later, we had another appoinment with the sky engineers but no one showed up. It turns out it was because the wrong engineer was sent to us again.
We called pleadling for some help and we were told that we had to pay £60 for the high access team appointment to be booked. Now we done that, we were insured that people from the high access team would arrive.
3 weeks later today, the same engineer that has been coming to our place for the past 3 months came again and he said he does not know why he is being sent here. So we paid £60 for nothing.
Can anyone advise me on what we should do? We've been with sky for 17 years and have never had this issue before getting a appointment sorted.

You're probably better off paying an independent satellite installer to come and sort the dish. At least that way you're not at the mercy of Sky's booking system. They have fewer and fewer satellite engineers these days anyway, as they try and move more customers over to streaming.
