NO SKY BOX!!!

So a few months ago I told Sky that I was going into a temporary address (living with my parents) as we were building our new house. I asked Sky to bring my account to the lowest possible bill as I would be unable to use these services for the next 5 months. After the fifth time explaining  this they finally did it, however they ask for all my Sky equipment back?? So to avoid talking to Sky as they are an absolute disgrace to try and talk to someone and get the right help I just sent it back,. I now have a new house and want something that I can watch sky on, as I'm still paying for it. They new house doesn't have a sky dish and I don't want a dish and leads coming into the house. Is there a box that can be supplied that works off the WiFi?? I have been with Sky for over 7 years and this rate I'm ready to leave them all together. Including the 3 mobile contracts I have with them. I want this sorted asap..

You aren’t contacting Sky by posting on here. We are mainly customers trying to help other customers.

 

If you returned the equipment you didn't cancel your subscription which is why you're still being charged. 

If you don't want a dish then you'll have to consider Stream or Sky Glass but research them property as they are very different to Sky Q.

Sky Stream runs off a broadband connection.

 

If you sent your Sky Q equipment back did you actually cancel the subscription against it otherwise you could still be paying the monthly charge for the package you had.

Thanks for the help. I've been. Trying to call Sky and it's pointless at this point. Keeps sending me automated texts.. I have no idea how to even talk to an advisor.. this seems like a good option but I want Sky to send me them out

When you call and are asked anything by the bot say nothing and remain on the line.

Stream pucks are always 'sent out': there's no installer attendance available.

 

The fact that you apparently still have a Q subscription might well complicate things though.

i posted on here because sky sent me a message to click the link after calling them numbers of times.. I figured that out when I got my replies.. thanks for help but think I'm going to have to contact them again..
