NDS number

Hi, is it possible to get the NDS/Cisco no. from the system info menu with Sky Q?

I know the hardware version no. (eg 32B00...) is listed but is the non-chasis version no. detailed too? The combination of these two is needed for pairing the VC.

@Mikesat  It's unlikely that info will be provided, no one needs that info for normal day to day use.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

And, perhaps unsurprisingly, Sky are typically reluctant to reveal technical details relating to Viewing Cards...

Re: NDS number

I was just checking on a Sky HD box and the hardware vers no. and the serial no. are in there in system details. So, I'm thinking the same info is provided with Sky Q. An engineer might use these from here to pair the VC if other ootions fail?!

What other options are likely to fail you don't need an engineer to pair a card you can do it from the Sky Q box google How to pair your viewing card Sky Q
