Have you activated HBO Max via Sky by following the instructions here: Sign up to HBO Max
Do you have a Sky Cinema subscription which includes Paramount+ or are you signing up directly?
Either way, if everything is activated and set up correctly, you should be able to login using the email address you used during sign up.
