My sky not working

My sky box is not connecting to my tv

My brand new skybox is suddenly not talking to my tv. I can see it is recording programmes and the on/off lights work. Also the remote is new and works but not to the tv

You've posted in the Sky+ forum, but there are no new Sky+ boxes. Do you have Sky Q, perhaps?

You're probably right I have a Q box but not a glass tv, when it was fitted I was told it was mark 2 but that is irrelevant as it was installed by a sky engineer so it must be installed correctly as it has been working ok until it suddenly isn't

I have screen to look at as it's blank. But my free view is working ok as are all other tv functions the fault is the skybox

Hi @Car29    It sounds like your TV is not on the correct HDMI input. Try cycling through the HDMI inputs with the Sky Q remote (if it is paired) or your TV remote.

It is the correct HDMI as I have it for years with no problems and when sky engineer changed boxes  recently it was correctly fitted and working. Then for no reason it wasn't surely can only be skybox as everything else is ok

Hi @Car29 Try placing both your TV and SKYQ box on standby, then on your SKY remote press the SKY logo button on the top of the remote, this should start your SKYQ box and then your TV with hopefully a picture?

When the SKY Q box is on try pressing the following keys in sequence on the SKY Q remote

Home 1 0 8 0 Home
