On main box says I've not got multi room subscription, this all broke after re taking offer after I cancelled 9th June. My broadband has also changed so I waited until that in case that may of been problem but doesn't work after connecting mini box. The team said give it 3 days this was 2 weeks ago and no one bothered to call me back. How do I get this working??

However try the following.
If you are satisfied that it is in correctly
Try refreshing your Viewing card.
Home - Settings - System info.
Highlight Viewing card number and then select Setup on the right hand side.
Then select Use this option to trigger a callback
No call is actually made but the Viewing card should be refreshed.
Failig this try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
Reboot the mini as above.
If the mini still does not connect reliably try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).
If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box. If you do this make sure you press the Sky router WPS button and not the router reset button.
Failing all of the above best to get back to Sky.

Any resolutions? Exactly the same for me? Got engineer coming tomorrow? Feels like an account issue rather then hardware?

It's been a long process to finally get ours sorted!
The engineer will not be able to fix it. They will call a centre and ask them to send yet another signal down the line and tell you to wait 3-5 days. This will also not work.
i argued and pushed for a new viewing card. They eventually agreed and sent us one..but...they completely deactivated our current viewing card so lost everything for 3 days whilst waiting for the new viewing card.
once the new one arrived it didn't work at first so yet another call to sky to get them to send another signal down the line... this worked and so far so good! Just to phone and now get a refund for all the services we paid for but didn't get for nearly 3 weeks! Good luck!

Thank you - so frustrating isn't it! Sky said its has nothing to do with my contract renewal ! Just coincidence! But all happened on the same day!
