My main Q box keeps dropping its Wi-Fi connection.

Despite completely resetting both my main Q box and my router, the main box continually drops the Wi-Fi connection which makes it impossible to watch through the mini box.  Sometimes the main. Ox reconnects automatically other times it has to be done manually.  
it is incredibly frustrating and I'm paying for a service I can't use

I had the same. I have to use wifi as my router is too far from the Sky box to cable. The only solution was to get a wifi booster from my supplier (Vodafone), plug it in near the Sky box, and then run an ethernet cable from the booster to the Sky box.

This works 95% of the time, but even then it still drops connection maybe once every month to six weeks or so.

Thanks for that. The annoying thing with mine is that it will operate fine for a number of weeks then suddenly it's unusable for 1 to 4 days with the Wi-Fi continually dropping out.
