My ex partner is still using my sky

My ex partner moved out several months ago but I think he's somehow still using my sky TV account. When I go on recordings, there's programs on there that I haven't set to record and are his kind of programs, not mine. At first, I thought he might have set the series links before he left but I look at one last night & it had already been watched.

Is it possible he's watching sky on his TV using my account?

I don't know what to do 😢

@OMGIdontcare  It would be impossible for your ex to have a Sky account under your name, linked to you at a 2nd address.

Unless the programs watched are netflix programs which is possible if they have access to your netflix account.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: My ex partner is still using my sky

@GD1 thanks for that. I have only had Netflix since he moved out so it can't be that.

Could he still view my sky on his phone through the sky go app?

I appreciate your help x

The Sky Go app can only be linked to your Sky Q box when they are both on the same Wifi network

Re: My ex partner is still using my sky

That's kind of accurate.  If I move over to mobile data, my Sky Go app cannot connect to my Q box BUT if I open the Sky Go app, find a programme, and hit Download, I can still send this to the Q box - from the other side of the world.

@OMGIdontcare I suggest you go here and reset your Sky password as this is most probably on the Sky Go app on the other device - once you reset the password, hopefully, the ghost downloads stop.

Good luck.

Re: My ex partner is still using my sky

This also could be due to pushed on demand. If its enabled your box will automatically save a selection of on demand TV programs and movies so that they are ready to view instatly.

This can be disablen when you do the following

Press the home button. Then scroll down to settings. Do not press enter yet. Press 0 0 1 then press the enter button. A warning at the top of the screen will appear , warning that the settings should be changed by advanced users.

click right and you will see

LNB Type (Do not change this setting)
Enable Pushed On Demand - change this to off then click the back button. (The button with the box and left arrow through it)

Try that and see if it helps.

Pushed On Demand programmes never appeared as Recordings/Downloads in the Recordings section and, as far as I know, hasn't been in operation for some time.

When pushed on demand videos are downloaded it doesn't tell you they are pushed on demand videos. Theyre just there
