Hi guys,
So apparantly I need a multi room subscription to watch TV via Sky Go app on Apple TV. I'm probably not alone thinking of the Sky Q box speed being garbage when it comes to using any 3rd party streaming apps. I've had Sky Q for years and I got over it.
I also know that the Sky Go app on Apple TV is limited to 1080p and some channels are not availble due to licensing. I already use Sky Go on tablets and laptops so I'm fine with it.
However, when I try to add Multi Room to my account, I don't get an option to skip the Mini Box. I don't need the Mini box in my scenario. And although they discount the price of the box and delivery, total £56, to £0. I feel that there should be an option to add Multi Room without the box.
Before I get on the phone with Sky and waste my precious time :), has anyone come across this and know how this can be handled?
Appreciate your response.

Now I can answer my question. You can indeed call Sky Customer service and add Multiroom on its own without the mini box.
I can also confirm that Sky Go works perfectly on an Apple TV. I wish they could add the feature that's available on the Sky Go App on mobile, which allows access to Sky Q Recordings if you're on your home network.
I guess this may come later. i hope 🙂

Re: Multi room without mini box
Hi @Marcin-UK Normally it is the other way around, people complain about not getting a Mini box when they order Multiscreen.
