Moving my skybox Q to new location in the lounge

Hi I have sky Q do I need a engineer to move my box in the lounge or will this automaticcay connect to internet when I move it

Your Q box connects to a satellite dish first and foremost. Will the new location of your box still be able to reach the cables that come in from the dish? If not then you'll need to get an extension kit from somewhere like Amazon. They are not expensive. Sky will probably charge a £65 call out fee for an engineer to do it and you may have to wait a while. 

Your box will automatically connect to your internet after it has been moved, assuming of course that you're not changing your internet service provider.

What kind of extension kit I'd rather save money then spend it 😊
