Do the engineers need me to have internet to install my SkyQ and mini?

@Jackymax its prefferable but some engineers have used a hotspot from their phones to get Sky Q up and running. Guess it depends on the engineer


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

I cannot reach Sky online or by phone as messaging is off despite being in hours. I have moved house. I wish to have my tellys connected. Please can someone at sky assist as it is agonising trying to get any service whatever for a simple connection request for a longtime sky user.

An update.

 

They did fit my SkyQ without internet and it did work, but the SkyQ mini box doesn't work without internet.

 

I have since got my internet, just a week ago, but can't get that to work now.

No one answers, then when they do they say there is some error delaying them for 4 days etc etc. Crazy delays. Argh.

A typical home move will have a lead in time of 10 working days anyway.
