Moving cable to another room

Hi...my sky has always been downstairs but due to changes I have taken my TV upstairs...I still have the cable in previous room so therefore I do not have any access to TV as not connected.. do I contact sky for a engineer to come out and move cable and rearrange upstairs or is there another way...thanks

You can buy satellite extension cables quite cheaply on Amazon if you want to feed the existing cable upstairs yourself but this is probably not aesthetically the right way to go about it, especially if it has far to travel.

You can ring Sky and ask for an engineer to redo the cabling from the dish to your Q box's new location, but this will be chargeable - £65 I think is the current pricing. It will entail them drilling a new hole in the exterior wall through to your bedroom to allow the cable to be passed through to reach the new location of the Q box.
