Hi all, i have several sky q boxes around the house, with the main box in the living room and conencted to the TV via a scart. Problem i have is my wife wanst to move the position of the TV but the cables are not long enough. Can i move the televsion to a different part of the room, not connected to the sky q box and access by wireless or does the " mother sky q " need to be connected to a television ?

HI @Terry+1959
the SKY Box must be connected to a TV via an HDMI Cable (or possibly Scart if that is really what you are using)
Do you really mean via a Scart or do you mean HDMI as the options may be slightly different
You can get Satellite Extension leads from the likes of Amazon, in various lengths - you need twin cable for SKY - but many are that. This would let you move the box alingside your TV

Does it work if I have two sky boxes in the living room.
The first is connected to the two leads that come into the room from the dish and then connect another sky q box to the television that i have moved.

Do you already have the second box & is that connected to the TV ?
If that is what you have you can just move the mini box with the TV
If you don't already have a mini box you need to be aware, that in addition to a one-off mini box admin fee you also need an ongoing Multiscreen subscription
