Move or re connect Sky box

I want to move Sky box from front room where cables enter the building, to the back room. Am thinking about running extension cables under the floor but we have white cables running from the dish to the back room. Can I use them to connect the box?

Exactly what are the white cables?

If they are Satellite cable from a previous Sky-plus HD Multiroom and the haven't been cut off at the dish end then they should be OK.

Unless you have a Hybrid LNB and all cables are still connected to the dish you will have to remove the two existing Sky Q cables and fit the two white ones at the dish end.
