Missed recording

I only use the sky q box to watch f1 so it is switched off most of the time

i turned it on about 415pm to  record padock unut at 6pm but it didn't record 

how often is the scheduled list updated? Do I need to allow two hours or more before ?

Hi @MiniEggs1999   The first programme on series link is the Drivers' Press Conference at 3:00pm. You haven't missed anything as there are lots of repeats.

Thanks but it should have recorded the first live paddock uncut

yes I realise it is repeated about 19 times but why didn't it record

If it was part of a series link, you need to know that series link on the F1 channel is not always that reliable.

Hi @MiniEggs1999   No idea. If it is on the series link, then it didn't record. The next scheduled recording is P1 at 1:00pm tomorrow.

No idea why this week's Paddock Uncut was not in the Series Link.

That said I have not tracked other editions & only watched those that have been recorded as part of the series link previously & I have not thought about if I have missed one & I wouldn't notice if it had skipped in other sessions

Personally, I would only notice if the main sessions (P1, P2, P3, or Sprints, Quali, Race etc) were missing as I am not that bothered by some of the other shows

I note that Paddock Uncut is repeated at 12:30 today (Friday) so best to set that manually - P1 is the next scheduled recording in the Link  (as mentioned by others)  

BTW I have always thought it a flaw with the series linking on SKY Q that you can never tell the every programme that will record as part of link within the TV Guide planner window (i.e. next 7 days) but  can only see the next one scheduled until that starts & then can see the one after. 

My Freeview recorder shows evrything that is linked making it easier to see if there are any missing
