Minibox accessing apps - seperate accounts needed

Why do I have to create seperate accounts to the main box when trying to access apps such as BBC Iplayer, ITVX and Youtube ?

Surely the fact that I have used it on the main box should suffice ?

As far as I am aware @Anonymous

You need to register each device within the same account and not create new ones

As far as those apps are concerned each Q box hosting each app is an individual client device with an individual app instance.  Sky would be on very thin ice regarding GDPR if they captured and retained login information to enable single sign-in and I suspect the app owners themselves would simply forbid it.
