Mini sky q not working

Sky Q mini box is frozen and there is no output signal. Box won't reset.

when you switch it on do you get any lights coming on ?

 

does it do anything if you press and hold the reset button on the back until the red light on the front flashes


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Yes we do have lights

hi @Ian6661 

 

Have you checked that the remote is working  (replacing batteries if necessary) ?

To check press the ? button & the red led above the SKY logo button should flash

 

If the remote is working as above then:

May I suggest you try a reset of your remote:

Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times

Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared

Hi @Ian6661 

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.

I have the same issue on my minis - main box works fine! Is there a software issue.
