Mini boxes randomly drop off wifi....

Ok so ...

  Hi are you getting this I hope so

So this is what's happening I am struggling because every time I switch on my Mini box in my bedroom within 10 minutes the screen goes black and then says you there is no connection to the internet I've had a Wi-Fi booster which I'm paying for I've had a new router and I've connected using the connect to another router and I've used the password to that router and we're stable for a while but now it's gotten worse again I've done a system scan sent it to Sky and they say they don't know what's going on and they need to send someone out can anybody please help me with this I'm terminally ill stay is my life will to the window and this is really starting to get on my nerves I'd really appreciate any help yeah really would now to go through points that I have done one left it unplugged for overnight and then connected it the following day after hard resetting by pressing the reset and the front power button and then when it's like that I've used the step-by-step connections but instead of going through the step-by-step connections I press the home key gone into network settings reset settings and then connected using other Wi-Fi routers and put in the password twice and it's worked and it's connected but then as I've said an hour into what I'm watching When I'm chilling boom black screen oh no connection is there anybody out there that knows what this problem is I need to tell you that my router is actively seven feet away from my bedroom router eight feet away from my carers room router and 10 feet away from my main sky Q box in the other room the walls are plasterboard stud walls there are no fish tanks in the way and there was clear light Line of Sight the router is actually mounted on a on a router holder on the wall and any and all interference such as alarms mobile phones you know radio control landline phones nothing help please peace ....

Now as a present gift or just a thank you for helping me if any of you have a Philips TV and cannot I repeat cannot get the tenet at the 1260 or to HD on your TV through your Sky Q box I have a patch from Phillips that fixes it Phillips 65 inches 40 inches 55 inches okay I've got the patch and what you do you loaded up with a USB stick Run it and then you try searching for your alter HD and HDR and bingo it comes up I've done it on two TVs and it would be my honor to share it peace and love everyone and I've really appreciate your time and your efforts yeah thank you

Hi @Arabianstar In the following order:-Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with any Mini boxes?

These wifi problems are honestly the worst thing about Sky Q by a country mile.

 

How far apart are your Q box and mini box?

 

I am guessing you are not on Sky broadband or are on one of their new white routers, but could you confirm?

 

and you mentioned multiple routers - does your carer have a separate internet connection running?

 

Is your wifi booster a specific Sky Q Booster or something else?
