Mini boxes freezing and pixilating

Sky recently replaced my main Sky Q box as we had experienced continual pixelating, freexing and blue screen events on the main box and three mini boxes. The main box now appears to be stable (after three days). However, the mini boxes continue to freeze and pixelate.

Weak network connection between the main box and minis, most likely.

Re: Mini boxes freezing and pixilating

i am having the same issue with 1 (out of 2) mini boxes. The one in question is closer to the main box/router than the other mini box thats working well.

tried to reconnect several times and the problem is still there!

think i'll need to get a replacement mini box from sky

Worth a try although distance isn't always the most important factor. Walls/metal objects/appliances/electrical cabling can all cause problems.
