Mini box

I now have 2 mini box's for my sky Q. I set up my second box up and now can't get sky on my other mini box. I was told you can have your main TV set up and 4 mini box's. Why can't I use my mini box now ?

It's four Mini boxes at an address, not in simultaneous use.

Typically the issue will be you have the original 1TB main Q box which only supports one active Mini.

Depending on the specific hardware version of the main box then the limit is either 1 or 2 concurrent mini boxes.  (Sky will loan you up to 4 as noted)

press Home on your remote, go to Settings, then System Info, and select Hardware Version

@Helenmull You can have a maximum of 4 mini boxes loaned to you by Sky.

All 2TB boxes and the UHD/HDR 1TB permit watching on two mini boxes and the main box at 1 time. You may also be able to use a 3rd mini box at the same time if you’re using it for one of the apps such as Netflix.
The older 1TB non UHD box only allows you to watch on 1 mini box as well as the main box .

Each mini box which is loaned to you may be subject to a one off upfront charge but you only need one Sky Q monthly Multiscreen subscription.
