Been having major broadband issues.
now sky q mini box won't connect to sky.
main box is connected fine.
trying all the troubleshooting and get the blue screen which says to press home when the screen goes blank, but then nothing happens when I press the home button. Can't book an engineer visit due to the system thinking we have one booked, even though that was for broadband on 30 August.
Tried cancelling that and it says I have to call, but when I call sky; they just don't care.
i have an outstanding complaint for the broadband - but now this is an issue.
can anyone advise anything that's helpful please? I'm at the end of my tether

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the mini box.
If this turns the mini box on
With the mini box on with green led try completly resetting your mini Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair to TV.

we're now stuck on a screen that's about accessibility and just can't move any further.
theres two options but remote seems to not let us select either so just feel stuck

Hi @feebow
On your mini remote press and hold 7 & 9 on the remote until it's led flashes four times.
This will set the remote to infrared mode which will work all boxes in line of site.
Reboot the mini again and then see if the remote will get past the stuck screen
Remember to point the remote at the mini .
If you can get the mini working then repair the remote by pressing 1 & 3 and following onscreen instructions.
