Mini box lost connection to main box
I have one mini box connected to the main box using TP Link Powerline. I'm also on Sky Broadband. Everything works perfectly!
I have just replaced the TP Links for newer versions and my mini box worked initially, but now says it's lost connection. How do I restore the connection?

Re: Mini box lost connection to main box
Have you checked in the mini box settings to see if the Wifi has turned back on?
When I used powerline I had to always go in and turn Wifi off on the mini to force it to use the wired connection, which it does have a habit of resetting and defaulting back to Wifi.

Re: Mini box lost connection to main box
Must admit, it's worked for so long without issue I've no clue about the Wi-Fi.
do I need to go into the hidden menu to check this? How do I switch it off?

Re: Mini box lost connection to main box
@cheese26 Yes, you can switch wifi off in the hidden installer menu, but you might just want to try resetting the network connection on the mini first.
Go to Settings > Status > Network Connection > Network Setup > Reset and hit the reset button, making sure the ethernet cable to the powerline is plugged in.
Make a cup of tea and just leave it to find it's way for a while.
If it still doesn't pick up the ethernet connection then you might want to go into the installer menu and turn off the Wifi completely before forcing another network reset.
