Mini box disconnect again.

Last night 9pm mini box disconnected from sky tv hub. I checked main TV box and locked. Couldn't switch off change channels  nothing. Reboot at wall switch. I am so fed up of sky. This has been going on since sky q was installed. We are disabled. Have the sky boost service at £5 month and still have to wait until Monday. Time to cancel contract as sky are in breach of the contract. I'm done. Can any recommend either Ee/BT tv as they are quoting half sky cost for same package

What did Sky say when you reported your problems?

I am just another Sky customer!

Re: Mini box disconnect again.

Hi

iI have complained about the Mini boxes disconnecting, thinking it was a Sky problem.

I Since found it's not a Sky problem, it's the BT wired network or they are pushing people to upgrade as they do not want to support the wired network anymore.

As I am waiting for full fibre connection I was sent a very small EE hub which gives wifi to our house.

no drops outs with this device .

Our problem was drops every 2 to 20 mins

You can see setup / network /advanced

the connection Ticks go to a X

We have had this problem for years , thought it was Sky , but now I know it's not

Full fibre is the only way forward
