My sky Q mini box never stays connected for longer that 10mins an thats only been able to connect it twice as keeps losing connection to main Q. I with I hadn't got rid of Sky+ HD boxs as never had a problem

You may need a booster to improve the connection between your Mini and main boxes. Give Sky a call to report the problem.
