Mini Q box not connecting and no longer responding to the remote - no functionality

Service completely dropped out (probbaly because not used in extra room for a while).
In effect a start up blue screen showing "Accessibility on sky Q" with button options of Settings or Skip, but neither responds to the remote nor turn off option on the remote, which I can only do manually.
New batteries fitted to the remote and also tried re-setting the box.

hi @CarlosF1 

 

Yes this message seems to have caused a bit of a quirk so try this:

 

Press & hold 4 & 6 on the remote to set to Infrared only

Hopefully you can then dismiss the message

Then try re-pairing in bluetooth mode with the box by pressing & holding 1 & 3 together

 

If this does not work try a full remote reset by pressing & holdng 7 & 9 until the red led above the SKY logo button flashes 4 times

Then try the 1&3 to re-pair & pair with the TV

@CarlosF1 try the following...

Unpair their Sky Q remote from the box by holding 4&6 

Wait for the remote to flash you should then be able to dismiss the information screen by clicking on Skip & set up later

Hold 1&3 to repair the remote control

If 4&6 does not allow you to clear the information screen, try holding 7&9 to reset the Sky Q remote then hold 1&3 and follow the on-screen setup journey to allow the remote to control your TV.

Thanks Both for your answers and indeed solutions....now I can catch up on MOTD and get annoyed all over again!
