Mini Boxes State 'Please Check Your Subscription Entitles You To View This Channel On This Box'
Both of my mini boxes show the same error message, they are both connected to the main Sky Q box and netwok (have reset many times without solving the issue) and I have a current and live multi-screen subscription.

Re: Mini Boxes State 'Please Check Your Subscription Entitles You To View This Channel On This Box'
None of the channels work on either of the two mini boxes, it's a total blank across the board, the main Q box is fine and can view all channels and subscriptions. It was all working up until a couple of weeks ago.
Sky, can you advise?

Hi @JackDZilla
Have you tried a Reset Settings in the main Q box hidden menu.
To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
After the Reset you will have to re pair your Bluetooth remote If you use one.
If you cannot switch the Q box on with the remote after the Reset press the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the box.
To re pair the remote press 1 & 3 together on the remote and follow onscreen instructions to re pair.
Make sure that you are pointing the remote at the Q box when you press 1 & 3 together.
Resetting the settings will also reset:
Audio visual settings, such as picture resolution and HDMI control
Settings changed within the hidden engineer menu, include LNB type. If on a communal dish you need to reset the LNB to SCR in the hidden menu. After changing the LNB type you need to reboot the Q box.
Once the main Q box is back up and fully running reboot the minis again.
To reboot press Standby on your mini remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your mini box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your mini remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the mini box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Sky q minbox please check subscription entitles you to view this channel error
Hi, I have two miniboxes and am being charged for them under my subscription so no issues with billing or what I have subscribed for. Started getting an error on both of them saying 'Please check your subscription entitles you to view this channel...'. I get this on every single channel I try to view. Have been through all the previous troubleshooting I could find on forums: 1) reactivate box, 2) reset box (which unpairs remote which then needs to be repaired), 3) renew viewing card number, 4) update software of main sky q box and then miniboxes. None of this worked. Can somebody help please?

Hi @Tonymontana yes I still have this problem, as you I have tried all the options suggested, we need Sky Technical to step in and look into this as I suspect you are also paying the monthly multiscreen fee.

Call sky and tell them you've tried all the known steps. Ask if they can reset/refresh the feed to your sky system. Worked for me and a couple of other posts on similar issues also said the same.

@Keith133 Have you tried refreshing your viewing card by pressing home > settings > system info > viewing card number > setup > viewing card setup press select to trigger a callback don't worry nothing to do with your phone its only Sky's terminology this will be done over the internet.
If so let us know and we can escalate this to Sky for you

Re: Mini Boxes State 'Please Check Your Subscription Entitles You To View This Channel On This Box'
I've had the same problem for the past 3 weeks. I shbscribed to Sky soorts on the my sky app and the two mini boxes both went off and now display the subscription error message.
ive spent over 5 hiurs on the phone with the technical and accounts teams and tried everything, resetting boxes, reactivating boxes and cards, new viewing card, engineers visit and still no closer to getting this fixed.
my next stage is to just cancel all my sky priducts, tv, broadband and mobile and move to a more reliable provider
