Mini Box stopped working after btoad band fault

I have one mini box, connected by LAN cable to my router.

The main box is also connected by lan to the same router.

The mini box has worked fine for 12 months.  This week we had a broadband fault with no Internet for a couple of days.

Internet is fixed now, the sky main box works fine (showing Internet connected). Unfortunately the mini box won't cone on (blank screen). Checked all cables. Cycled power. Went to main sky box settings to reactivate mini box. But still a blank black page.

I verified mini box LAN cable had Internet by plugging in a different device.

I have bitten the bullet and done full factory reset (back the box button , 30 seconds etc) my screen now haha blue sky looking screen explaining setup options. (Screen shot attached) but I can't slept 'setup' or 'skip'. Its like the remote is not working although it still controls the TV.

Im a bit list now as I can't rest the remote without seeing the settings screen for the mini box. 

Help and suggestions would be appreciated as it feels to me the jox is frozen, spiked  to prohibit the blue tooth connection.

hi @Phil249 

 

A full reset will trigger this message  but a reset needs the remote to be reset & needs to be in IR mode to dismiss the message

Press & hold 4 & 6 on the remote to set to Infrared only (so must have line of sight of the box)

Hopefully you can then dismiss the message. 
Then try re-pairing in bluetooth mode with the box by pressing & holding 1 & 3 together

If this does not work, which is more likely due to the box reset,  try a full remote reset by pressing & holdng 7 & 9 until the red led above the SKY logo button flashes 4 times

Then try the 1&3 to re-pair & pair with the TV

Fixed ,Thank you

 

It took while to get the infrastructure red setup on remote but after that it worked as described.

Remote is paired with Bluetooth connection too.
