Mini Box says ‘no satellite signal’

Main Sky Q Box is on and working in one room. Sky Mini Box says in Netwiork settings that it's connected to the broadband router and the internet but it still won't connect and on screen says 'no satellite signal'.

Have been through multiple hard resets as have found to work before and also conducted the specific instructions shown on forums but still noting! Very frustrating, can anyone resolve my Sky misery?

Hi @Reevesey

First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the mini.
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)

note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

Reboot the mini as above.
If the mini still does not connect reliably try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).

If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box. If you do this make sure you press the Sky router WPS button and not the router reset button. If you have the new Sky Max router then you need to connect the WPS to the main Q box.

It's a power saving option in settings.

Press the Home button on your Sky Q remote.

Scroll down the menu and select Settings.

Choose Setup.

Scroll down and select Preferences.

Select Standby mode.

Change the option from Eco to Active or None.

Select Confirm on the screen to save your changes

Did you have Sky broadband before you had full fiber fitted. If you did with full fiber your broadband hub has probably been replaced with a new one. With you old Sky broadband the min boxes connected though the broadband however with your new hub it do not and your mini boxes need to connect to the main box direct, just like if you had a non Sky broadband band. To do this you need to reset your  mini box's network settings. Then follow the on Sky instructions to connect you mini box's network direct to your main box following the non Sky broadband instructions, this involves pressing a button on you main box as per the instructions on screen on tv your mini box is connected to.
