Mini Box not required after all

I have today received a new mini box; I already have two which work fine but we were planning to keep our existing TVs and add a new one, hence the need for an additional mini box.   Turns out, we are indeed getting a new TV but will be discarding one of the existing TVs so we can switch the existing mini box and no need for a new additional box.

I have not even opened the package from Sky and want to return it and not suffer the £50 set up fee as it will not now be set up.

There is a return address on the packet but I assume I need to let Sky know the position and request that the £50 fee is cancelled.

How best to go about this?

Many thanks

@DavidButcher2 best would be to call Sky and explain the situation then they should be able to remove the mini box from your account and send out packaging to return it to them

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Sky Q 2 TB (Silver)Box, 2 Mini boxes since June 2016, all connected by wifi
Sky Broadband Hub/SR203, Sky Ultrafast broadband
Ultimate on Demand, Q Experience/UHD, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema
