Max

My sk q contract runs out in 3 weeks, I have broadband with Plusnet as the reviews aren't showing sky as being that good on broadband and also I don't like to keep all my eggs in one basket if you get my drift.

I am a lady in my 70s and need to cut down on my annual costs. I have been with sky for 20plus yrs

I've heard a lot about Now tv which is so much cheaper, has anyone moved over to Now and have any comments that would help me decide what to do.
At present I'm paying £37.50 a month for ultimate tv (includes Netflix) with an expected £3 price rise 31st March 25

I'd be grateful for any advice given.

NowTV is a streaming only service so you'll need suitable hardware once you return the Q box.

...a lot depends on your requirements and what channels you watch.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@Max40 I'm a long time NowTV customer and for me it's fine, you need a decent Internet connection and a smart TV or firestick/chromecast to run the app.

If you do want to switch be aware the amount of channels on NowTV is very limited, the entertainment package include these channels only, Sky Max, Sky Showcase, Sky Witness, Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky History, Sky Nature, Gold, Sky Crime, Comedy Central, Sky Arts, MTV, Sky Sci-Fi and Alibi. You also get on-demand shows from all of these channels (except Sky Showcase).

The movies package has all Sky cinema channels and the same goes for the sports package.

@Max40  Please not that your contract doesn't end, just your discount period. If you decide to cancel Sky after that ends, you need to give Sky a 31 day notice to do so.

I am just another Sky customer!
