MAC address

Hi all,

trying to diagnose a slow connect speed on my internal network which has Sky Q on it. ( Sky router replaced with TPlink one years ago ) .

I'm a bit confused with the Mac address of the sky boxes. As an example , one of my sky mini boxes has a mac of 78:3e:53:fd:56:c6 for the 2.4GHz adapter. ...However the TPlnk sees this as 7E-83-1E-FE-56-C2.

How come ?

any ideas

cheers

Guy

The proprietary AirTies technology on which the 'Q mesh' is based does non-standard things with MAC
