Loose cable outside
Our satellite dish is on the back of the house, with a cable running over the roof to the front. The cable is no longer secure, due to the recent high winds, and hanging down low at the front of the house. How can I get this secured, before it gets worse, and can a Sky engineer do this? I haven't been able to contact anyone in Sky for help. Thanks

Re: Loose cable outside
Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ equipment (where you've posted) so you would need to engage a local satellite engineer to repair it for you at your own expense. Or now might be a good time to consider upgrading to Sky Q, as your dish and cabling will be checked at no additional cost to you as part of the Skq Q installation.

Re: Loose cable outside
Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ boxes (where you've posted) unless you have Sky Protect. You would either need to egage a local satellite engineer, or if the cable is undamaged, a handyman to secure it for you.

Re: Loose cable outside
Then give Sky a call to arrange an engineer.

Or employ a local independent which is probably quicker (the dish & associated cables belong to you, unlike the boxes which are only loaned to you)

Re: Loose cable outside
You could go down the independent company route as suggested but that would be at your own expense but have to agree it may be quicker.,
