Lip Sync issue

Hi, I wonder if anybody could help or offer advice. I've had a look at some of the other lip sync threads but they seem related to sound bars.

i have no sound bar and simply have my sky q 2tb box connected to my tv with the hdmi cable.

Occassionally we are getting lip sync issues which impacts every single channel, I've looked at all the settings and everything is as it should be.

The only way to resolve this is by pulling the plug out and rebooting the sky q box.

This has been going on for months and months but is getting more and more frequent.

Do you think I need a new box? The one we have is probably a good 6 or 7 years old, might even be more.

Not sure but we have the same issue has our sky Q for a good 5-6 years maybe longer.
